Student safety is about more than physical safety. It includes creating welcoming learning environments where students feel they belong, their well-being is supported, and families have confidence in the policies and practices that help keep schools safe.
As Trustee, I will support policies and strategic planning that place student safety and well-being at the centre of board decisions while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
Every child is different. They learn differently, grow at their own pace, and face different challenges. Our schools should support those differences so every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
Success isn’t the same for every child. Some students need extra support. Others need to be challenged in new ways. Every student deserves to feel included, encouraged, and able to do their best.
As your Trustee, I will keep students at the centre of every decision and support schools that help every child reach their potential.
